Mr. Pravin Patkar will participate in the Regional Action Forum on 21 st and 22 nd June 2005 in Kathmandu Nepal to finalize the Regional Protocol on Minimum Desirable Standards of Care & Support to Victim of Trafficking & Other Forms of Violence.

Mr. Alay a representative of America Indian Foundation will visit Prerana on 22 nd June to finalize the sponsorship of AIF to Prerana on the proposed Rehabilitation Programme for Trafficked Victims.
Children of Prerana will visit MASTEK in SEEPZ Mumbai as guests of MASTEK Management and Employees on 25 th June 2005. Mastekeers sponsor some of Prerana's children.
27 th June Prerana will have a meeting with Mr. Aniruddha Edershinge of Sri Lanka on making of a software based registry to track the trafficked victims covered under post rescue and rehabilitation initiative.
On the 27 th March 2005, Prerana workers would be celebrating Holi with the rescued girls at the Special Rescue Home for Juvenile Girls.

On 5 th January 2005 a picnic was organized for the VOCSET (Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation & Trafficking) women covered under the Women's Health Programme to Fantasyland in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. App. 90 women took part in the picnic
On the 18th February Prerana organized a Street Play on HIV/at the Special Home for Rescued Juvenile Girls. The Play stressed on Prevention of HIV/AIDS.
To commemorate International Women's Day Prerana organized a cultural function on 22nd February 2005 in Navjeevan Mahila Vastigruha (Protective Home). The rescued minor girls from Special Rescue Home for Juvenile Girls and destitute women from Kasturba Vastigruha participated in the program. The programme was held between 11.00 am to 1.30 pm, followed by lunch for all the participants.
On the 25th and 26th February, the Prerana Staff and the Night Care Centre staff went for a picnic to Shirdi, Nasik and Vani. Some 30 staff including staff of all the three NCC also participated in the picnic.
A comprehensive Victim Witness Protection programme was launched in Mumbai on 1 st March 05. Prerana handles the Psychotherapeutic / Psychosocial Counseling aspects under this programme. Dr. Sanjay Aparanti IPS Dy C.P.SSB Mumbai Police, and Mr. Baishnoi IPS DIG PAW Maharashtra Police were present for the programme.
To commemorate the International Women's Day on the 8 th March, The Anti Trafficking Centre of Prerana, in collaboration with Rambhau Mahalgi Probodhini, organized a 1 day Sensitization and Training Programme on Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking for the women elected representatives of urban and rural local self governments on Monday the 7 th March 2005 at Uttan Thane.
Ms. Deepti Mascarenhas of Prerana made a presentation on Networking and the Role an Anti Trafficking Resource Centre plays in it (based on its NACSET experiences) in the State Level Consultation Meeting on launching of the Resource Centre organized by UNICEF Maharashtra on the 7 th March 2005.

On the occasion of International Women's Day the Vashi Centre of Prerana in collaboration with PSI organized a programme for the VOCSET on the 10 th March 2005, in Turbhe Store, Navi Mumabi. The two hour programme involved the VOCSET women in different types of games, like musical chair etc. at the end of the programme prizes were distributed for the winners of the respective games.
As a part of Vocational & Career Guidance, Prerana organized an exposure visit to the Doordarshan Centre at Worli, on 10 th March 2005, for the children (above 12 years of age) covered under the Education Support Programme of Prerana at the Kamathipura and Falkland Road Centres. Children could explore the different departments in the Doordarshan centre, which enabled them to explore the different career options in the field of mass media.
Jay G Silverman Director of Violence Prevention Programme Harvard University School of Public Health, Meena Hewett and Dr. Anita Raj, Associate Professor at Boston University School of Public Health visited the ATC on 14 March 05 and had discussions with Pravin Patkar and Priti Patkar on research related to CSE&T
Two post graduate students of S. P. Jain Institute of Management Studies and Research started their internship with Prerana from 14 th March 05.
